Horn Rapids

Thursday we spent the day at Horn Rapids riding the tracks. They have a great kids track and Gage loved it. We went with some friends who also have boys that ride and the kids all rode together. We were there for about 5 hours and Gage rode almost the whole time. He was a little leery at first, it was his first time on that track, but after going around a couple times he got pretty comfortable and had a blast. He would come of the track to get a drink and snack and within ten minutes he'd ride back out. He literally rode almost the whole time. Jett just has fun playing in the dirt! He and his little buddy were cracking me up with "magic tricks", he is such a funny kid. And Case has fun following Jett and doing whatever he does. And of course the "big boys" had fun on the track also.

School's out for Summer

Gage's last day of school was Wednesday and we are all SO glad. Gage is a little bit of a homebody and glad to be done and home with us, I'm a little bit of a home body and happy to have him home with us and Jett is happy to have Gage home to play with him and if it EVER warms up here we can't wait to start going to the pool again. Gage had a good year and did great in school. He is a pretty easy kid, he loves to read and didn't mind doing his homework and he gets along well with kids at school so he made a lot of friends and had fun. Change is a little bit hard for Gage so their were a few rough days with substitutes but by the end of the year he overcame it and did fine. His teacher was awesome, we loved her. Gage wrote a note for her on the
last day and I thought it was sweet so I posted it below.

Walking on the Sand Dunes

NASA has been out at the Sand Dunes for the last couple weeks testing some of their equipment. We took the kids out on Sunday afternoon and we saw a couple of their little robots. The kids weren't to impressed, since they only moved about a quarter of a mile an hour, but we went back out on Monday after school and saw them testing out their space suits. We all thought that was pretty cool. Of course Lynn was really out their to ride, because that's what the Sand Dunes are really for, right?!
