Rock Stars

This week was spirit week at school and Tuesday was rock star day. The boys were so excited to have blue hair. Jett wanted to wear his Beatles shirt because "they're cool rock stars", his words not mine but yes I was very proud.

And really what says rock star more than throwing up some metal while holding a baby doll!?

The first day

I'm not sure what is worse, your kids crying because they don't want to leave you and go to school (like Gage did in kinder and 1st grade) or them counting the days down weeks before school starts, walking into their classroom and happily waving goodbye and the youngest of the bunch throwing a huge fit because he wants to go to school just like his big brothers and not home with his mom.

Poor Case missed his brothers so much, he must have asked a dozen times when "his boys were going to be home." I'm afraid it might be a long adjustment period for him, and me.

Tired Guy

We got home from church and Case was STARVING. (so he claimed) I didn't want to listen to him cry and whine anymore so the minute we walked in the door I got him a snack then went back to my room to change out of my dress clothes, I came back out to the kitchen not 10 minutes later and found him like this.

I guess he was hungry and TIRED.
